FWT17: Vallnord-Arcalís Recap (Congrats to Kylie Sivell!)

September 17th, 2020

Freeriders from around the world competed at the first two events of the Freeride World Tour (FWT) competition circuit, and we’re very excited about the results! Congratulations to all of the winners in each category—in particular, to our own Snowledge Ambassadors and FWT rookies, Griffin Dunne and Kylie Sivell! In the first event, Kylie placed third in the Women’s Ski in her first FWT competition, after graduating from the 2016 Freeride World Qualifiers just last year. From FWT: “Opening her line with a demanding air that she then combined with impressive riding, Kylie Sivell (CAN) earned third place.”

At the second competition event, Kylie finished in second place, earning enough points to secure a current tie for a top ranking as #1 at this stage of the FWT, alongside skier Jaclyn Paaso.

Check out replays of the event webcasts first event (find the red and white toggle markers with their names) for a full replay of Kylie’s and Griffin’s runs, along with commentary and scores.
