Trewly, our partnership with TREW Gear is a match made in heaven—if heaven is a bottomless pow day (which, let’s face it, it probably is). We’re excited to announce that we’ve connected with TREW to introduce their high quality outdoor wear to the Snowledge community!

Traditional models are out. We love that TREW is shaking up the outdoor clothing and gear industry by bringing the ski and snowboard community the latest and greatest clothing and outerwear technology. At Snowledge, we’re striving to bring skiers and riders a social tracking app that provides a seamless on-mountain experience with GPS run-tracking, current weather and snow conditions, all while connecting users to local mountain knowledge and real-time content from other riders…and it works at every mountain (resort or backcountry).

We’ll be celebrating TREW’s flagship store opening in Portland, Oregon (also home to Snowledge headquarters), on Thursday, February 23rd. Come join us for goodies and deals you won’t want to miss! (See below for more info on when and where.)

TREW, with their original location based in Hood River, Oregon, sits among the Cascade Mountains and holds a vision for the future of outdoor apparel. Not only are they shaking up the retail model and bringing adventurers gear direct to consumer, they’re also making the online retail experience and top-quality offerings for key outerwear and materials like no other.

TREW began in 2007, when founder Tripp Frey left his Wall Street career to find a path more connected to his values. When Tripp was in first grade, he wrote a book called “Skiing is Fun.” He let this innate passion for mountains guide his next move. Tripp swapped a New York City suit life for the somewhat less hustle-and-bustle atmosphere of Hood River, Oregon, and called up his lifelong friends, brothers Chris and John Pew, with an idea for a bib and a brand. Now, 10 years later, they’re about to cap off a successful decade with a new retail location, in S.E. Portland.

Join the TREW and Snowledge teams at this local soirée, and share the stoke. Free beer, free wine and free food, paired with activities like ping pong, corn hole, and shotski, along with killer deals and giveaways… but let’s face it, we had you at “free beer.” Check out their Facebook event page for more info and updates.
