MOMENT OF TREWTH

The outdoors, according to TREW Gear, is a place for fun, laughter, and friends. As a company that makes their products for those who love to celebrate good times in the great outdoors, it’s no surprise that they would carry that spirit into the great indoors as well.

Last Friday, our Snowledge crew joined TREW (and their fans) to celebrate the opening of TREW’s flagship store, here in our headquarters of Portland, Oregon, and to help promote our #TREWsnowledge #WinterPix contest (Grand Prize is valued at more than $500).

Between 5pm and…whenever it ended…a few hundred people showed up to the event, including: local businesses, the ski and snowboard community, outdoor enthusiasts, friends, family, and even several four-legged friends. It was an amazing evening filled with with crazy-good deals on TREW Gear, giveaways, freebies, raffles, like-minded people who share a love of the mountains, and most importantly, a chance to sharpen your cornhole game.

Matthew Kish of the the Portland Business Journal writes, “The new location is both a retail store and an open-air corporate office in order to help Trew employees interact with customers.” This “open air” concept is not only practical, but refreshingly authentic. The Snowledge team enjoyed connecting with everyone from TREW, sharing our love of the outdoors, and discussing how our latest technology (from the high-tech materials in their outerwear to the features in our new app) helps create a more perfect experience on the mountain.
